Cherry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cherries
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    pie pastry
Preparation
    Mix sugar with cornstarch and salt.
    Add cherries and cook in saucepan until mixture comes to boil; add butter.
    Line pie pan with pastry.
    Add cherry mixture and cover with strips of pastry. Bake in a moderate oven about 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
