German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bar German sweet chocolate
    1/2 c. water
    4 eggs, separated
    2 sticks margarine
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/4 c. flour
    beaten egg whites
Preparation
    Melt chocolate in hot water, 1 1/2 minutes in microwave.
    Mix together next 6 ingredients (separate eggs; beat whites until very stiff and set aside).
    Add chocolate, buttermilk and flour.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Bake in 13 x 9-inch pan for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
