Tomato And Pasta Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ripe tomatoes, sliced
    1 carrot, sliced
    1 stalk celery
    3 pt. water or chicken stock
    1/3 c. olive oil or butter
    salt and pepper
    1 c. pasta (for soup; little tiny stars or such)
    chopped parsley
Preparation
    Put all the ingredients, except pasta, into a saucepan and cook for 30 minutes.
    Force through a sieve and bring again to a boil.
    Add pasta and continue cooking for about 10 minutes.
