Chicken Tamale Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. cornbread mix (8 oz.)
1 chicken, cooked, boned and chopped
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. water
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimiento
1/2 c. shredded cheese
Preparation

Add 1/2 cup cheese to cornbread mix and prepare as directed. Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Mix chicken, soup, seasoning, pimiento and water in saucepan and heat until warm.
Spoon cornbread mixture into greased 2-quart casserole.
Spoon chicken mixture over cornbread to within 1/2-inch of edges.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 35 minutes.
Top with cheese while hot.
