Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. cocoa
red food coloring
2 1/4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine oil and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
Add cocoa and food coloring.
Sift flour and salt together. Add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture.
Sprinkle soda and then vinegar over batter and stir until well blended. Add vanilla and pour into 2 (9-inch) cake pans, greased and floured.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
