Zesty Mushroom Soup By M And R - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. thinly sliced fresh mushrooms
    1/4 c. thinly sliced onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. dried tarragon leaves
    1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. half and half
    2 Tbsp. dry white wine or water
Preparation
    Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
    Add mushrooms and onion.
    Cook and stir 5 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
    Add flour, tarragon, pepper and salt.
    Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Cook 5 to 10 minutes, until thickens slightly.
    Serves 2.
