Vanilla Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 3/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer.
    Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Add baking powder and flour one cup at a time, mixing them together.
    The dough will be very stiff; blend flour in by hand.
    Don't chill dough.
    Divide into two balls.
    On floured surface, roll each ball into a 12-inch circle in diameter and 1/8-inch thick.
    Then cut out your cookies.
    Bake cookies on an ungreased sheet on top rack for 6 to 7 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned.
