Grandma Friedrich'S Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 or 8 slices toasted bread
    milk (enough to make soft dough)
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat eggs.
    Add sugar, vanilla and nutmeg.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or more.
    Pats of butter on top.
