Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. grated carrots
    4 eggs, beaten
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. pecans (optional)
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. oil
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
Preparation
    Mix sugar, eggs and oil.
    Add dry ingredients and mix well. Fold in carrots and pecans.
    Bake in 10-inch greased and floured tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cool for 1 hour.
    Ice cake.
