Butterscotch Bananas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/4 c. rum
    1/4 c. butter
    2 large, ripe but firm bananas
Preparation
    In 1 1/2-quart casserole, stir together brown sugar and rum. Add
    butter;
    cover.
    Microwave
    at
    High
    3
    1/2
    to
    5 minutes, or until sugar is dissolved.
    Cut bananas lengthwise, then crosswise, so there are 8 pieces.
    Add to syrup, carefully coating each
    piece.
    Microwave
    at
    High 1 to 2 minutes or until hot. Serve over ice cream.
