Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    32 oz. hash brown potatoes
    12 oz. sour cream
    1 can mushroom soup
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion (optional)
    2 c. shredded Cheddar or American cheese
Preparation
    Combine potatoes with sour cream, soup, onion, melted margarine and cheese in a bowl.
    Add salt and pepper to taste; mix well.
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch baking pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 55 minutes.
