Scotch Tea Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    2 c. flour, sifted
    6 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix above ingredients and chill 1/2 hour.
    Spread mixture evenly over bottom of jelly roll pan, which should be lined with foil.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 c. pecans.
    Mix eggs with brown sugar, butter, salt, and vanilla.
    Spread over dough.
    Sprinkle with remaining pecans.
    Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cut into bars.
    Can be frozen.
