Creamy Strawberry Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1/2 gal. pineapple sherbet, softened
    1 (28 oz.) bottler ginger ale
    fresh strawberries (optional)
Preparation
    Place strawberries in container of an electric blender. Process until pureed.
    Pour into punch bowl; add ginger ale and sherbet.
    Stir until creamy.
    Serve immediately.
    Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.
