Hot Pepper Jelly(Green Or Red) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. ground fresh hot peppers
    7 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. white vinegar
    1 small bottle liquid Certo
    5 drops red or green food coloring (if desired)
Preparation
    Boil peppers, sugar, vinegar and salt 8 to 10 minutes (rolling boil).
    Add Certo and boil about 3 more minutes; add coloring. Pour in sterilized jelly jars.
