Ingredients

2 c. soy sauce
1 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. dark molasses
Preparation

Mix and boil over medium heat; let cool.
Cut meat in lean, thin strips and marinate in refrigerator for at least 24 hours (more time equals more flavor).
With oven on low, bake meat, over a drip tray, on oven rack for several hours until semi-dry.
Also, just before putting meat in oven, coarse black pepper, cayenne or other flavorings can be sprinkled on wet marinated pieces.
