Skillet Meat Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1 small onion, grated
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. evaporated milk
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 can French onion soup
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Mix beef, eggs, onion, bread crumbs, cornstarch, salt, pepper, ginger, nutmeg and evaporated milk in a large bowl.
Form lightly into about 30 walnut-size balls.
Brown in melted shortening in a large frying pan.
Mix onion soup and water.
Pour over meatballs. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
(I use a small can of milk and a bit of water to make 8 ounces.)
