Ingredients

3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. buckwheat flour
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 beaten egg
1 1/4 c. milk
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Stir together flours, sugar, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Combine egg, milk and oil; add all at once to flour mixture.
Stir until blended, but slightly lumpy.
Pour about 1/4 cup batter into a lightly greased skillet.
Cook until golden brown.
