8 c. fresh spinach
1 c. fresh bean sprouts
1/2 c. sliced water chestnuts
1/4 c. chopped onion
4 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
3 Tbsp. vinegar
3 Tbsp. catsup
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 hard-cooked egg (optional)
Preparation

Tear spinach leaves into bite-size pieces in a mixing bowl. Add bean sprouts and water chestnuts.
