Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. box Velveeta cheese
    1 large head broccoli or 2 boxes frozen broccoli
    1 stick margarine (1/4 lb.)
    1 can evaporated milk
    grated onions for garnish
    2 cans mushroom soup
    salt and pepper to taste
    croutons
Preparation
    Cook broccoli; bring it to a boil.
    When cooked, do not drain; use 2 cups of water as soup base.
    Melt cheese and margarine in a large pot.
    Keep on low and stir often.
    Add milk to
    base.
    Add mushroom soup, salt and pepper to taste.
    Add melted cheese and margarine.
    Keep on low and stir often.
    Combine with broccoli and garnish with croutons and grated onions.
