Steve'S Favorite Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
1 c. flour
1/2 c. milk or water
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. fresh, frozen and thawed or canned and drained blueberries or peaches (your choice)
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon
1 1/2 c. water or compatible fruit juice
Preparation

In shallow 2-quart casserole, cream margarine and sugar.
Mix in flour, baking powder and milk.
Spread evenly in bottom of casserole.
Arrange fruit evenly over batter.
Mix sugar and spice and sprinkle over fruit.
Pour fruit juice or water over fruit. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
During baking the fruit will go to the bottom and a cakelike layer will form on top.
Serve warm with ice cream.
Serves 6 to 8.
