Alice Oehme'S Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
3 tsp. baking powder
1 can cream-style corn
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 (7 oz.) can Ortega green chilies
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Mix cornmeal and baking powder together.
Add remaining ingredients, except chilies.
Pour half of mixture into baking dish.
Top with split seeded chilies and grated cheese.
Pour in remaining mix and top with more cheese.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
