Cowboy Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. margarine (at room temperature)
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 c. buttermilk
    salt to taste (optional)
Preparation
    Place margarine in a deep 1 1/2-quart mixing bowl. Break into chunks with fork. Add small amount of oil and buttermilk.
    Beat with electric mixer at high speed.
    Continue beating, adding small amounts of oil and buttermilk at a time.
