Holiday Morning French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    3 tart apples, cored and thinly sliced
    1/2 c. dried cranberries or raisins
    1 loaf French bread, cut into 1-inch slices
    6 large eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, butter and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Add apples and cranberries; toss to coat well. Spread apple mixture evenly over bottom of baking dish. Arrange slices of bread on top.
