Cream Of Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    3 medium onions, thinly sliced and separated into rings
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1 Tbsp. parsley
Preparation
    Melt margarine in large saucepan over medium heat.
    Stir in onions and garlic.
    Cook 10 to 15 minutes or until onions are soft and lightly browned, stirring frequently.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Stir in milk and broth.
    Cook, uncovered, 8 to 12 minutes or until thickened and thoroughly heated, stirring frequently.
    Do not boil.
    Garnish with parsley.
