Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 7 medium yellow squash (whole)
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 stick margarine
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. sharp cheese, grated
    parsley flakes to taste
    pepper to taste
    garlic powder to taste
    Ritz cracker crumbs
    melted butter
Preparation
    Steam the squash and onion in a small amount of water until tender. Drain well and mash. Add other ingredients except cracker crumbs and butter.
    Mix well. Pour into oiled dish. Can be frozen. When ready to bake, top with cracker crumbs and a small amount of melted butter.
