Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 thick bacon slices, broiled and drained
12 thick slices Swiss or Gruyere cheese
4 eggs, beaten
1 Tbsp. flour
nutmeg
cayenne pepper
2 c. light cream
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted
pastry for a 9-inch pie
Preparation

Line 9-inch pie plate with pie crust.
Arrange slices of cheese and bacon in overlapping layers in pie crust.
Beat eggs with flour, generous grating of nutmeg and cayenne to taste.
Add cream and melted butter.
Pour this mixture over bacon and cheese and bake in 350\u00b0 oven until custard is set and lightly browned, about 40 minutes.
