Vegetable Cheese Tart - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 c. half and half
    2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    1 pkg. Knorr vegetable soup and recipe mix
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach, thawed and drained
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    6 medium fresh beets
    1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
    2 tsp. vegetable oil
    1 Tbsp. black mustard seed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Cut off the stems and leaves from the beets.
    Wash beets in running cold water.
    Put them in a deep pan and cover with water. Add turmeric and bring to a boil.
    Cook for 20 minutes or until they are fully cooked but still firm to the touch.
    Let cool. Peel and rinse under running water.
    Slice into 1/4-inch matchstick pieces.
