Gertrude Armstrong - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour, sifted
    2 c. sugar
    2 sticks oleo
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix flour and sugar together in a mixing bowl and set aside. In a saucepan, melt the oleo, cocoa and water together and bring to a full boil.
    Pour over the sugar and flour mixture and add buttermilk,
    eggs
    baking soda and
    vanilla and pour batter into a greased 16 x 11-inch pan (cookie sheet) and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
