Candy Strawberries - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 oz. pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 c. ground pecans
1 c. flaked coconut
3/4 c. condensed sweetened milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
red decorator's sugar
blanched almonds, sliced
Preparation

Combine dry gelatin, pecans and coconut.
Stir in milk and vanilla; mix well.
Chill 1 hour.
Shape into strawberries.
Roll in red sugar.
If desired, tint sliced almonds with green food coloring and insert in top of berries to form leaves.
