Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cucumbers
    2 3/4 c. white distilled vinegar
    1/4 c. plain salt
    3 c. water
Preparation
    Use only fresh firm cucumbers.
    Wash thoroughly and pack whole or sliced in jars.
    Add 1 pod hot pepper, 1 clove garlic and either fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dill seed per jar.
