Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. diced or minced onions
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. grated American cheese
    1/4 c. butter
    2 c. corn flakes
Preparation
    Mix first 8 ingredients together.
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch dish. Melt 1/4 cup butter and pour over 2 cups corn flakes.
    Mix and pour on top of first 8 ingredients.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
