Princess Di'S Royal Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
    Butter an 8-inch square
    pan.
    Place
    butter, water and sugar in a heavy saucepan
    over
    low
    heat.
    Stir
    with wooden spoon until sugar dissolves.
    Add milk.
    Turn heat to high and bring to boil.
    Turn heat to
    low and simmer for 40 minutes or until firm ball is achieved.
    Stir
    from time to time.
    Remove from heat. Pour in bowl
    over\tlarger\tbowl
    with
    ice.
    With electric beater, beat 10 to\t12
    minutes until fudge is creamy and holds it shape.
    Pour into
    pan.
    Refrigerate 3 to 4 hours before cutting into squares.
