tenderized round steak, cut into serving-sized pieces
salted water
flour
Preparation

Heat oil in electric skillet.
Have oil 1/2-inch deep.
Heat to 400\u00b0.
Soak steak well in salted water.
Dip to coat well in flour.
Put in hot oil.
Turn only when edges are brown.
Lift from skillet with slotted spatula.
Serve with cream gravy.
