Cream Cheese Sweeties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 count) pkg. crescent rolls
    16 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg white, beaten
    milk
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Unroll 1 can crescent roll dough; press into ungreased 8 x 12-inch baking dish, sealing perforations.
    Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla until smooth.
    Spread over dough.
    Unroll remaining dough, sealing perforations.
    Place over filling.
    Brush with egg white.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Cool slightly.
    Mix milk and confectioners sugar, stirring until desired consistency.
    Spread over top.
    Cut into squares.
    Makes 16 servings.
