Creamy Chocolate Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cocoa in saucepan.
    Add milk.
    Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly until it begins to boil.
    Boil for 3 minutes, or until a teaspoonful will form a soft ball in cold water.
    Add vanilla.
    Cool; beat until thick and creamy. Spread on cake.
    This is enough for 3 layers.
