Baked Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. cornmeal
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. grated onion
1/3 c. skim milk
1/4 c. egg substitute
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 to 3 Tbsp. sugar
vegetable cooking spray

Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl; make a well in center of mixture.
Combine milk, egg substitute, oil and pepper in a small bowl.
Stir well.
Add to cornmeal mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
