Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and lemon peel.
    Gradually add sugar, creaming all until light, about 6 minutes at medium speed on electric mixer. Add vanilla and then eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Sift together dry ingredients.
    Stir in.
    Grease bottom only of a 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan.
    Turn in batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until done.
    Cool in pan.
    Sift confectioners sugar lightly on top.
