Indian Pinto Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dried pinto beans
    3 qt. water
    1 lb. can tomatoes
    1 large onion, chopped
    8 slices bacon, cut 2-inch lengths
    3/4 c. sliced celery
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Wash beans and place in a 6-quart kettle with 3 quarts of water and bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer for 4 hours until tender.
