Pear Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1 large can pears
    1 large pkg. lime, lemon or strawberry Jell-O
    8 oz. cream cheese
    2 c. liquid (pear and water)
Preparation
    Pour off juice from pears.
    Add enough water to make 2 cups of liquid.
    Heat liquid to boiling; add Jell-O.
    Cool.
    Blend pears (in blender or electric mixer) with room temperature cream cheese. Add to Jell-O.
    Fold in Cool Whip, using a mixer.
    Pour into Pam sprayed 9 x 11-inch dish or large ring mold.
