Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/3 sticks margarine
    1 1/3 c. sifted flour
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Melt margarine; pour into large mixing bowl.
    Add brown sugar and eggs; blend well.
    Add flour, baking powder, pecans and vanilla; mix well.
    Pour into greased 9 x 9-inch baking dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Let cool; cut into bars.
