Mom'S Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground hamburger
    2 (15 oz.) cans chili beans
    2 (15 oz.) cans cooked tomatoes
    3 c. diced potatoes
    2 c. carrots, sliced
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Cut up potatoes, carrots and onions.
    Add just enough water to cook, season with salt.
    Cook on medium-high heat until vegetables are tender.
    Brown hamburger meat and drain.
    Add meat, beans and tomatoes.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
