Barbecued Pork Chops In A Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. barbecue sauce
    5 to 7 pork chops, cleaned
    1/2 c. flour
    salt and pepper
    1 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Flour chops lightly
    in
    flour,
    salt and pepper.
    Heat cooking oil.
    Brown
    pork chops on both sides, turning to make sure of an even brown.
    Remove chops from cooking oil.
    Remove cooking oil from
    skillet.
    Add
    1/4
    cup water.
    Add barbecue sauce and chops.
    Cover
    and
    cook for 30 to 40 minutes over a low fire.
    Turn chops occasionally to make sure that the sauce penetrates the chops.
    Serves 5 to 7.
