Chess Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    1 (2 layer) pkg. yellow cake mix
    1 egg
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. confectioners sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
Preparation
    Combine margarine, cake mix and 1 egg in mixer bowl; mix well. Press into 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Combine confectioners sugar, 2 eggs and cream cheese in mixer bowl; mix until smooth.
    Spread over cake mix layer.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Cool on wire rack. Cut into squares.
