Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger meat
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 can kidney beans
    1 pkg. taco seasoning
    1/2 head lettuce
    1 pkg. tortilla chips
    1 large tomato
    1 c. or more cheese, grated
Preparation
    Brown hamburger.
    Add onion; saute until onion is brown. Drain grease.
    Add small amount water.
    Add beans, using liquid. Add taco seasoning; simmer.
    Add more water if necessary.
    In large mixing bowl, break up lettuce in small pieces.
    Add 2/3 of chips, cut up tomato and cheese.
    After salad mix is prepared, pour hot mixture over salad; lightly toss.
    Serve with remaining chips.
