Pork Chop Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    hot water
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. diced pimiento
Preparation
    Brown chops in oil.
    Spread rice in bottom of rectangular baking dish.
    Reserve 1 tablespoon of seasoning from envelope of onion soup mix and sprinkle remaining seasonings and bits over rice.
    Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid and distribute mushrooms and pimiento over rice.
    Add hot water to mushroom liquid to a total of 3 cups.
    Pour over rice.
    Arrange browned chops on top of rice mixture and sprinkle remaining seasoning.
    Cover with foil and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Remove foil; let stand 10 minutes.
