Yellow Rice And Chicken(Columbia Restaurant) - cooking recipe

2 1/2 lb. fryer
1 large onion
1 green pepper
1/2 c. tomatoes
2 buttons garlic
1 bay leaf
1 pinch saffron or Vigo flavoring (1 envelope)
1/2 lb. rice *
1/4 to 1/2 c. olive oil
1 qt. water or broth *
Preparation

*For each cup of rice, use 2 cups of broth.
To make broth, boil bony pieces of chicken or use chicken flavored bouillon cubes.
