Freezer Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed strawberries
    4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1 box powdered pectin
Preparation
    Stir strawberries and sugar in a bowl.
    Bring water and pectin to a boil.
    Let boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add pectin mixture to strawberries and stir 3 minutes. Pour into 1/2 pint jars, one inch from top.
    Put cap on and screw top on tight.
    Set at room temperature for 24 hours.
    Place in freezer.
