Ingredients

1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cornstarch, heaped
3 egg yolks
2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 stick oleo
1 c. coconut
1 to 2 tsp. vanilla (as you like)
2 (8-inch) baked pie shells
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Microwave for 2 to 3 minutes. Take out and stir good with wire beater.
Repeat until mixture is as thick as you like.
Pour into pie shells and cool.
You may use your own meringue recipe.
