Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. lukewarm water
    6 1/2 c. unsifted flour
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over shortening, sugar and salt in small mixing bowl.
    Stir until shortening and sugar are dissolved. Cool.
    Add beaten eggs.
    Meanwhile, in large bowl, let yeast stand in lukewarm water for 5 minutes, then stir and pour first mixture into large bowl.
    Add 4 cups flour.
    Beat well with electric mixer, then add 2 1/2 cups flour and mix by hand.
    Cover and place in refrigerator at least 4 hours.
    Dough will rise slightly and will keep a week to 10 days, to be used as needed.
