Tortellini Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    4 cloves minced garlic
    2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth
    1 (9 oz.) pkg. cheese tortellini
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 (15 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 bunch spinach
    6 basil leaves or 1 tsp. dried
    Parmesan for garnish
Preparation
    Melt butter in Dutch oven over medium heat.
    Add garlic and saute 2 minutes (do not burn).
    Stir in broth and tortellini. Bring to boil.
    Reduce heat, mix in 1/4 cup Parmesan.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Simmer approximately 5 minutes.
    Stir in tomatoes, spinach and basil.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Yields 4 servings.
